Combustion
Major constituents of Fuels are Carbon, Hydrogen, Sulfur and other elements. Solid and liquid fuels in the presence of oxygen (from air) and ignition (from the starting source of heat) burn (i.e. change their state) and release thermal energy, gases and water vapor. |
