Amtek Research was founded in 2001 for improving combustion of various types of Fuel burned in Boilers, Furnaces, Heaters, Engines and Gas Turbines - with the help of Fuel Additives. By improving combustion it is possible to reduce Excess Air (Oxygen), Smoke, Particulate Emission, Exit Flue Gas Temperature and heat losses resulting in overall improvement of Thermal Efficiency.
With the help of the suitable Fuel Additives it is possible to reduce the Fire Side Deposits Slagging and Back End Corrosion. The various Fuel Additives for liquid and solid fuels include Oil Based, Aqueous and Powder Chemicals. For dosing the Fuel Additives, Amtek Research offers suitable Dosing Systems.
In 2007, Amtek Research introduced the concept of Online Cleaning of Boiler and Heaters with the help of Aqueous Chemicals. Due to this technology the heat exchange surfaces are cleaned easily and remain clean resulting in improved heat transfer.
In 2009 Amtek Research introduced Offline (Shut Down) Chemical Cleaning of Fire Side of Boilers, Heaters, Heat Recovery Steam Generators and Air Heaters. The Chemical used is in the form of Liquid, Foam or Froth. By Chemical cleaning the Fire Side of the equipment are cleaned quickly and protected from corrosion till restart of the system.
In 2010 Amtek Research proposes to introduce in-situ cleaning of Process Heat Exchangers and Fin-Fan coolers. With great emphasis on reduction of environmental pollution in the years to come, there will be need to reduce NOx, SOx, CO2 and particulate pollution further. Amtek Research is planning to offer suitable Air-Pollution Control Systems to reduce Air-Borne pollution.
